FNSP Partners with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic crisis, the number of individuals facing food insecurity continues to rise. Here at FNSP we have been looking for ways to increase the number of people we are able to feed. While we’ve had the volunteers and resources to make more food, we didn’t have a way to get it to more individuals in need. So in February, FNSP started partnering with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine of Massachusetts (RLCMA) to increase our reach and feed more hungry people.

June 2020 Newsletter

At FNSP, we were heartbroken and outraged by the killing of George Floyd. We are also inspired by the global movement to fight back against systemic racism and the outpouring of support for the Black Lives Matter movement. During Pride month, we celebrate the Supreme Court ruling protecting LGBTQ rights in the workplace. We also continue to reflect on the inequities in food security still facing this community.
