Executive Director – AAIDALIZ PEREZ

Aaidaliz earned her dual Bachelor’s degree in Crime and Justice Studies and Health and Society from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Passionate about helping others, Aaidaliz has always aspired to work in a field dedicated to service.

She enjoys watching crime television, exploring nature with her dog, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with friends and family. Prior to joining FNSP, Aaidaliz interned at a nonprofit organization in Springfield, MA, where she further developed her commitment to social impact.

At FNSP, Aaidaliz appreciates the opportunity to be creative, apply her problem-solving skills, and acquire new ones every day as she contributes to meaningful work.

 
 
 
 

Kitchen manager- John Hogan

John grew up in the South but has called Boston home for many years. His passion for cooking began at a young age and has continued to grow throughout his life. To refine his craft, John completed a culinary course at the Institute of America in Cambridge, where he honed his skills and deepened his commitment to creating elevated, memorable dishes.

John is especially excited to bring his culinary expertise to the team, combining his Southern roots with refined techniques to deliver thoughtful, flavorful experiences.

When he's not in the kitchen, you can find John hiking, spending time with his family, or exploring the outdoors with his beloved dog, Abby.

 

Program Coordinator- Matthew King

Matt grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and became the Program Coordinator of FNSP in 2025. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Franklin Pierce University. Currently, he’s working on his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Suffolk University. 

He enjoys writing, skiing, video games, researching mental health, and exploring new places. A former journalist, he switched to pursuing a career in counseling and feels passionate about helping others. FNSP gives him the opportunity to contribute to a program that brings people together.

Caitlin MacDonald- Board Chair

Caitlin began volunteering at FNSP in 2021 after returning home to Boston after 8 years in San Francisco with a desire to be more engaged in her local community. She quickly became involved in the development committee before formally joining the board in late 2022. Caitlin is passionate about unlocking the potential of all people and currently does that through her job as Head of People & Culture at VEIR, a start-up accelerating the growth in electric transmission capacity necessary for global decarbonization and grid resilience. Prior to working at start-ups, Caitlin spent over 15 years at social impact organizations committed to putting young adults on a path to career and college success. Caitlin earned her MBA from Boston University and her BA from Bowdoin College, and is a proud South Boston resident.

Andy Zozom- Treasurer

Andy joined the board of FNSP in 2024. He has been working at Pine Street Inn since 2017, where he currently serves as the Chief of Operations & Social Enterprise. Prior to coming to the east coast, Andy worked for Seattle Goodwill for twelve years. Andy has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. He lives in Milton with his husband, son, and an overly friendly golden retriever named Bruno.

Andrew Chen- Secretary

Andrew began volunteering with FNSP in April 2020. He admired FNSP's dedication to those in need, adapting its operations to stay open through a pandemic while creating a sense of community among both volunteers and guests. Andrew loved his experiences as a volunteer and getting to know the guests, and his involvement with the organization grew as he joined the Board in 2022. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience and Spanish from Bates College and is currently working at the Massachusetts General Hospital. In his free time, Andrew likes to read and play tennis, either with humans or his beloved canine companions Hunter and Tiki.

Alex Hall

Alex is an experienced HR leader with over 14 years in workforce planning, performance management, compensation design, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Alex recently founded Valinor Talent Solutions providing HR consulting and expertise to companies. Prior to this, he was VP and Sr. Director of Talent Acceleration at Liberty Mutual, where he led global talent programs, managed a team of 30, and held roles in succession planning, A.I. policy, and strategic planning.

Alex holds an M.B.A. from Northeastern University, an M.S. in Human Resources from Western Carolina University, a certificate in I/O Psychology, and a B.S. in Business Administration. He serves on Western Carolina University’s HR advisory board and contributes to pro bono consulting projects.

Originally from North Carolina, Alex lives in Boston with his husband, Adam, and enjoys triathlon training, cycling, and sci-fi.

Jack Tragni

Jack joined the board of FNSP in 2024. He is a long time resident of Boston and has quickly fallen in love with FNSP, volunteering most Friday evenings. He is incredibly grateful to be in such great company serving meals with dignity to anyone in need at FNSP. Jack has a background as a consultant for various Boston business’s as well as an impact startup overseas in Africa. Jack holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and candidacy for a M.S. in Finance from Boston College. In his free time he enjoys sailing on the Charles and volunteering around Boston.

 

Jeannette Lam

Jeannette, a dedicated advocate for social justice, is honored to serve on the Friday Night Supper Program (FNSP) board. As an alumna of both Middlebury College and NYU, Jeannette leverages her professional background in education technology, nonprofit management, and philanthropy to contribute to FNSP's mission to ensure that no one goes hungry in Boston. Jeannette takes pride in supporting the program's endeavor to provide warm meals to those in need in a dignified setting. She is driven by a lifelong commitment to fostering a more equitable, just, and inclusive society. In her free time, she finds joy in cultural exploration through travel and meeting other people's dogs.

Jeff Moyer

Jeff began volunteering at FNSP through Boston Cares in 2016, later becoming a regular volunteer by 2018. He appreciated the direct impact that the organization holds for the guests it serves as well as the connections between volunteers and joined the Board in 2022. Jeff holds a Masters in Public Administration from Kutztown University and a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He works for the State Auditor's office as a Policy Analyst and has taught at local universities including Northeastern, Suffolk, UMass Boston, and Stonehill. His research interests include social equity in the legal cannabis market as well as election reform and educational equity. Jeff lives in Stoneham with his partner and occasional FNSP volunteer Ruowei.

Maureen Keegan

Maureen joined the board of FNSP in 2023. Her professional background spans the for-profit and non-profit sector, with a common thread of a focus on impact and engagement. She is currently works for Bain & Company as Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Boston office. She holds a BA in International Relations from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Maureen lives in the South End and in her free time enjoys traveling, running, photography, and spending time with her rescue dog, Sally.
