FNSP Partners with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine

FNSP Partners with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine to feed more hungry neighbors!

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic crisis, the number of individuals facing food insecurity continues to rise. Here at FNSP we have been looking for ways to increase the number of people we are able to feed. While we’ve had the volunteers and resources to make more food, we didn’t have a way to get it to more individuals in need. So in February, FNSP started partnering with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine of Massachusetts (RLCMA) to increase our reach and feed more hungry people. We have doubled the number of meals we make each week and, with the help of RLCMA, our extra meals are going to other food programs like the ICNA Women's Shelter and the Nazareth Residence for Mothers & Children. We hope to continue this partnership in the months ahead and for as long as it’s possible!
